KALAMATAS MUSEUM

Benakeion Archaeological Museum is located in the historic center of Kalamata, at the junction of the Benaki and Papazoglou street. In this Venetian-style mansion, one of the most remarkable buildings of the city, there is a rich collection of ancient findings from various locations in Messinia, dating from the Bronze Age to Roman times.

On the ground floor and second floor of the building, there are findings that mainly come from the major excavations of Malthus and Nichoria.
