VOIDOKOILIA BEACH

Voidokilia is without doubt the most popular among all the beaches in Messinia. Similar to an amphitheatre, it is formed by an almost round bay with clear turquoise waters, surrounded by the fine white sand of the beach.

A large rock next to the beach creates some shadow to prevent you from getting a sunburn. As this area is considered an archaeological site, civilization has not managed to alter the place, which is pleasantly calm despite the quite large number of people visiting the beach.

Next to the beach of Voidokoilia, you will find Divari lagoon, the largest aquatic biotope of Messinia.
