Ithomi – Ancient-Messini
Ithomi is built on the foothills of Mount Ithome in 369 BC by the Theban general Epaminondas in place of the prehistoric town of Ithomi with the help of Epitelis from Argos. It is worth to visit the wonderful local museum filled with rare findings, the Asklepieion and the parliament.
